North Pole

As one of the gifts to Lizzy from Gramps and Joyce was a Cruise to the North Pole. While we waited in line to board I thought it might be fun to get a few pictures. Lizzy on the other hand didn't think it was as good of an idea, she would not take her eyes off of Bullwinkle. I am not sure she realized that Rudolph was standing behind her.

If you look really closely you can see the Grinch on the boardwalk.... Lizzy got all excited when she saw him.

Santa in his boat house at the North Pole, sure which he had said Lizzy instead of Lindsey.

Christmas Day

Santa came to visit....

The sweet little angel is still sleeping, I am sure next year that won't be the story. She will be waking us telling us that Santa has visited.

Opening all the gifts.

New laptop Santa brought.

Oh what a mess.... between all her grandparents, mommy and daddy and Santa she made out like a bandit.

Reading her Curious George book that Grandma and Grandpa Starr got her to who else but Curious George.

Looking at the beautiful blanket Mommy and Grandma Starr made for her.

It turned out just perfect!!!

The new radio/CD player Gramps got her.

After all the gifts were unwrapped and most of the cleaning up had been done we decided to drive out to Higgins Point to look at the Eagles. It was a beautiful day and they were sitting so close to the road.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve Lizzy, Gramps and I went to my Grandparents and had a wonderful evening filled with yummy food and great company. Lizzy got to meet her uncle Gary and cousin Ashley, and of course there was opening gifts.
I think this was Lizzy's favorite toy that Grandma and Grandpa got her. She loved it and kept going back to it even after opening more gifts.

And of course she had to open my gift, I apparently was not doing it correctly.

Christmas isn't Christmas until you have olive fingers.

When we got home Lizzy wrote a note to Santa and set out her milk and cookies.

2 Nights before Christmas

Because Josh had to work swing on both Christmas Eve and Christmas day we decided to have our Christmas Eve as a family on Wednesday. I made a small scaled Christmas dinner and we let Lizzy open her Christmas Eve gift, which is always jammies. Unfortunately Lizzy had been running a fever for a few days prior, which landed us at the immediate care that evening. It turned out to be inner ear infections in both ears, poor little girl.

She was so excited...

These jammies would be her 'Snowball Jammies' as she calls all snowman.

And these would be her 'Yummy Cupcakes'

Christmas Card

Wow it was a challenge to get any good pictures this year for our Christmas card.

As you can see Lizzy has started the 'Two Year Old' smile... isn't it so cute???
One of the few pictures that turned out.

Not sure what kind of smirk that is.....

Helping Mommy Bake

Lizzy and Peanut Butter helped me do my Christmas Baking this year... they were so much help.

Visit with Grammie and Papa

Today Lizzy and I drove to Boardman, Oregon to meet up with Grammie and Papa. You might ask what the heck is in Boardman.... the answer to that is nothing, absolutely nothing. The location was picked because it was pretty much the halfway point between our house and my moms. The purpose of this trip was to send Fred to live with my mom. We will miss him lots, but we know it will be better for him.

Lizzy was very excited to see Grammie.

It turned out to be a beautiful day and we were able to go for a walk.

Lizzy asked Grammie to swing with her and how could she say no.

I don't think Grammie and Papa were excited to see Lizzy..... what do you think??

Three generations..... Three beautiful girls!!!!

Within 15 minutes of leaving to head back home, Lizzy was out cold..... All cuddled up to Macy and her blanket.
