Lizzy's 3rd Birthday

Because Daddy had to work today Mommy decided it would be a good thing for her and Lizzy to have some quality time together. Lizzy chose Red Robin for her birthday dinner.

It is hard to believe she is already 3, time goes so fast!!!!

I think the ice cream was as big as her, but she loved every minute of it.

We will be celebrating her birthday as a family on Wednesday when both Mommy and Daddy don't have to work. Great Grandma Fiorucci is making a spaghetti dinner.... yum we can't wait!!

Lizzy's big news

Lizzy wants to tell everyone that she is going to be a BIG SISTER. We found out a few weeks ago and couldn't be more excited.

Mr Potato Head

Yesterday when we stopped at a garage sale we found the Mr Potato Head family for $1... and we couldn't pass it up. So far it has given all of us hours of entertainment.

I think I see the family resemblance. Sure it comes from daddy's side. =)

Bead Party

The other night we went to a bead party, Lizzy had lots of fun and made herself 2 very pretty bracelets.

It takes lots of skill to pick out just the right bead!!

I was very impressed that she could thread them all by herself.

The night of course didn't come without a few laughs caused by Lizzy.....
The first was when the Swan's guy came to the door, Lizzy called out 'Brenda there is a dude at your door'. And the second on was when she was saying goodbye to Caitlin she waved and said 'Bye Caitlin, there is the door'. Oh she is just so helpful. =)

Field Trip

Lizzy had her first field trip this last week at school. They walked to the fairgrounds where they got to watch a bird show.

They arrived a little bit early so they got to play tag while they waited.

Here they are getting the pep talk of how they are to act once they get in the building.

And no field trip would be complete without Lizzy picking flowers and handing them out.

Lizzy didn't think it was all that interesting while the lady gave her speech, and to tell the truth I have to agree with her.

This is where she thought the fun began. They got to dissect a ball that an owl had coughed up after eating a mouse. Luckily daddy was there to help with that part.

She really got into it, I was really thinking she would think it was icky and not want to touch it. Good thing daddy was there to share it with her.

First Trip to the Dentist

Lizzy went to her first dentist appointment.... While I know it looks like it is starting out well, it doesn't last long and everything goes down hill.

She had no problems showing the assistant her teeth.

But as soon as the dentist came in and actually wanted to look in her mouth, things changed and mom had to put the camera away to help in calming down a very upset little girl. Hopefully next round will go better.
