Elizabeth's First Haircut

Elizabeth got her first haircut today.

She did so good... there were times when we thought she was going to fall asleep.

Elizabeth gave Lorretta flowers to say thank you for cutting her hair.
She was so sweet.

If she does it all on her own she goes to the side.

Summertime Fun

There is nothing like fresh corn on the cob in the summertime!!!

This was Lizzy's first time having corn right off the cob.... She loved it.

Josh was in a car show today so Lizzy and I went down to visit him. They had a bunch of things for kids to do including a little petting zoo. The large turtle in the pictures is 30 years old.

On July 7th I was sworn into my new position as Civil Deputy Technician.

The weather was beautiful.

Once the fireworks were over we had a short boat ride back. Lizzy was sitting on my lap when she looked up at me and said 'Mommy, I'm tired' ...... oh don't they just melt your heart some times.
