Tad's Party

Yesterday we had a great day out on the lake and a wonderful lunch at the under-sheriff's house.
This is Lizzy getting ready to leave for the day.... she thought everything including the kitchen sink needed to go with us. The balloon managed to stay home but the purse went with us.

She climbed on the boat and made herself comfortable.

The cruising got the best of her, she went out like a light. It didn't last long but it was enough to re-energize her.

Now doesn't she look like she was born to drive a boat???

Mom, enough with the pictures.... I am sure that is what she is thinking.

Chilling with Gramps at Tad's house. His house is absolutely beautiful and the hospitality was even more amazing.

These two cracked me up... they were so cute together.

Jake and Lizzy played so well together.

I think Piano lessons might just be in her future.

Sharing M&M's and chips.... oh so healthy.

Batter Up

Lizzy has show an interest in throwing and hitting balls so we decided to get her a baseball set. She loved it, we played for hours with it today.

Run Fred... I think she is aiming at you.

Swing batter, swing.

Running the bases, I guess someone needs to tell her that when you run the bases you are suppose to leave the bat at home plate.

Awww... just so cute.

Gift from Grandma & Grandpa Cox

Lizzy got a special envelope in the mail.... she was so excited to open it.

Here is the tag Mommy....

She couldn't wait to try on the new cute new outfit.....

A day at the Fair

We spent the day at the Fair today.... Lizzy got to see many animals and have her fingerprints and picture take for the child safety sheet.
She got very excited when we got to the horses. She was even brave enough to pet one.

I think the bunnies were her favorite, they were so soft and cute.

She went and picked some grass and then went over to the donkey and threw it at him to eat.

Lizzy so does not take after her mommy, instead her daddy, as they both enjoyed the reptiles a little too much.... they walked all thru the reptiles and thought it was very cool. While mommy was in and out as fast as possible.

The geese were lots of fun.... Lizzy carried on a long conversation with them.

The K-9 division of the Sheriff's Department put on a little show and Lizzy loved watching the dogs.

The last animal we got to visit with was piggies.... there was a mommy there with 12 or 13 little babies. There was also a boy there that was in 4-H and offered to take us to see a very 'fat' pig and then to see his pig. He was a very cute little boy that was very proud of his pig.

Moo Moo's

Saturday Josh and I decided to take Lizzy to a friends house so that we could go to dinner for our anniversary. On the way to Marcia's house Lizzy decided she needed to do her hair... I think she did a great job, don't you????
Marcia has baby cows, the whole way out to her house Lizzy kept saying Moo Moo's when we would ask her what she was going to go see. However when we got there she didn't want to get close to them at all.... they were cute to look at as long as they kept their distance.

We thought this was funny... how many of you can say you have a Bates Motel where you live????

Baking with Mom

It was baking day at our house last Wednesday....

We were working on our ABC's while things were in the oven, She loves when we work on our alphabet and numbers. Lizzy can count to 10 all by herself.

Miniature golf

Today we went and played miniature golf. Lizzy was actually pretty good at it.

She didn't want any help from mommy or daddy, it was all 'me do'.

It is just amazing how fast they grow up.

Quad Ride

Because it is legal up here to ride your quad on the street, Josh couldn't wait to take Lizzy for a ride.

Josh and Lizzy rode around the block (sorry it is sideways..... forgot that I can't switch it after it has already been taken). She appeared to be eager to go but I don't think she thought it was as fun as she had hoped for.

Seth's Birthday Party

We had a birthday party for one of Lizzy's friends. I think this is one of the first times Lizzy has gotten to play with kids her own age since we have moved up here. She did very well and had a great time.

The sun was so bright she had to wear her shades.

Lizzy was sharing everything in her goodie bag.

She played cards with Zander. Possibly teaching him what Daddy and Gramps have been teaching her. :)

The balloons off the cake were a hit with Lizzy.

Oh yummy cake.... She look so serious. I think Daddy was teasing her and telling her that he was going to take it. She didn't seem to think it was funny.
