Kolby Hunter

On December 18th I was scheduled to be induced so that my mom would be able to be here for the arrival of our newest little addition. My contractions had started the night before so I believe he was going to come one way or another on the 18th. We arrived at the hospital around 7 and by 8 they had me all hooked up and were getting the ball rolling. My mom was home with Lizzy when we left but shortly after she awoke, Lizzy went and spent the day with our wonderful friend Brenda (thank you Brenda) so that my mom could be with me for support. Around 1230 they gave me my epidural and at 1 the doctor broke my water. Sometime around 3:30 or so they had put me on oxygen because they were afraid that there was too much stress on Kolby due to the fact that one contraction would end and less than 30 seconds later the next one would start. At 4 they figured I still had a couple of hours left, boy were they surprised when 15 minutes later I told them he was ready and coming. At 4:46 our little bundle of joy, Kolby Hunter Cox was born weighing 7 lbs 15 oz and 20 3/4 inches long joined us.

Kolby is an absolute wonderful addition to our family and completes it.

Lizzy was very excited and could not wait to meet her little brother. Mommy and Kolby had a gift for Lizzy to help ease the shock of not being an only child. She was so excited and could not wait to start taking pictures of her little brother.

Visit with Santa

Two days before Kolby joined our little family my mom flew up here to help. It was my last day of work and Josh had to go to work also, so Lizzy got to spend some quality time with her before I got home. When I had got home they had made cookies for Santa and had dinner waiting... it was such a wonderful feeling to come home to.

The next day we decided to take a trip to Spokane to Build a Bear, while we were there Lizzy told Grammie that she wanted to go sit on Santa's lap. She was so excited, that is until she actually sat down on his lap. She then became a little petrified. Which is still better than I expected her to do, I thought for sure she would start screaming.

Even Kolby got to sit on his lap.

Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving Josh had to work swing shift so Lizzy and I joined our friend Brenda and her whole family. It was a very nice evening full of LOTS of yummy food and wonderful company. Brenda taught me a new recipe, which I can't wait to make.

Logan was helping Lizzy play the piano.

Prego Pics

We had some awesome friends take pictures of us towards the end of the pregnancy.... to prove how big I had gotten. These are some of my favorites, but truthfully I loved them all. Thank you Caitlin and Chris... you guys did awesome!!!

Lil Miss Piggie

For Halloween Lizzy was lil miss piggie... she was so cute. We had her bundled so well that when she walked she even had the the little waddle to it.

Packing

While Josh and I worked very hard to get everything packed up and ready to move into our new place Lizzy thought she would be helpful by packing up her stuffed animals.

New House

The end of October we decided it was time to move out of my dad's house and get a place of our own. With having a baby coming it was time to have our own space. We found a cute 3 bedroom house close to one of our best friends and so far we are enjoying our own place.
