Oregon Trip

Our girls trip to Oregon.
Lizzy did so good traveling, better than mom I think. As you can see she made herself very comfortable. We left on a Thursday around 9 in the morning and made it to my mom's around 5:30. We made great time and only had to stop once.

Maddie and Lizzy waisted no time breaking out the toys.

On Friday Grammy, Lizzy and I went to lunch while the car was worked on.

Once we finished all our errands in Corvallis we went back to Grammy's house for a girls night with Tori and Aunt Linda. We had a great time playing cards and of course stuffing our faces.

Saturday was filled with visiting more friends. We started the day off with getting to see Jonah and his parents. It took a few minutes for them to warm up to each other again after not seeing each other for about 7 months, but it sure didn't take long.

What little cheeseballs!!!!!

I think they knew we were getting ready to go because neither one of them wanted to sit still. It was another tearful goodbye. I wish they could play together like they used to.

Next stop was to hang out with Niki and the old Bunko group. Of course Niki had to spoil Lizzy with a ride.
Sunday was Grandma and Grandpa's day. On our way to their house we stopped for drinks. The lady that made our drinks thought she was absolutely adorable and asked if she could put whip cream the straw of her milk...... it was such a cute idea until I had to clean it up.

Lizzy had a great time playing with Grandma and Grandpa.... they played a fishing game.

and Grandma made her a balloon horse.... took her awhile to make it but she was determined.

The marbles of course came out of the closet.

It was such a fun day visiting with Grandma, Grandpa and Great Grandma and Grandpa. We stayed that night at Grandma and Grandpa's. I would like to say we slept there, but since we were up almost all night with ear aches there wasn't much sleeping.

Because we were up pretty much all night on Sunday we went and visited Grammy at work. She had a very nice doctor she works for look at Lizzy's ears and write her a prescription. Once we got the prescription filled we went back to Grammy and Papa's to rest and try and get ready for the long drive home the next day. Fred of course snuggled up with us for our naps that day.
On Tuesday we got on the road around 8:30, Lizzy fell asleep within 5 minutes of leaving and slept all the way to the Tri-Cities where we stopped for lunch. We had a great visit with everyone, wish we could have seen all our family and friends while we were there.
